Creature Of Habit - 'Weight In Gold' Single Review

Creature Of Habit are a 3 piece band fro Chester, England who are openly inspired to be a three piece by their love of Biffy Clyro. Having only released an EP so far, 'Weight In Gold' is their first single since signing to Domino PR and it is an excellent follow up to their EP.

Opening with atmospheric instrumentals, accompanied by a drum line that automatically gets your feet tapping, 'Weight In Gold' has all the ingredients to make a very popular track. Vocals kick in and it makes the track build that aforementioned atmosphere to an explosive moment where you hear vocalist Joe’s screaming and see a whole new element to Creature Of Habit as a band. There are some excellent riffs to join in with all of the above, and it genuinely ends up with you catching yourself tapping your foot along with the track.

This single has got me very excited for the album, and determined to catch them live as soon as possible.
