Catfish And The Bottlemen - M&S Bank Arena, Liverpool 10.11.2019

A few year ago Wrexhams Central Station and The Compass, Chester were putting on some brilliant gigs on a weekly bases and quickly gained a reputation for the place to see the best new bands, Frank Carters band Pure Love and Bo Ningen at The Compass are still up there as some of the best gigs I have ever been to. February 2013 at The Compass, two little known bands The 1975 supported by Catfish And The Bottlemen smashed it, playing to less than a hundred people and just one light. This is where all bands start in small independent venues put on by passionate promotors. I think if you did go to the Echo arena why not find out about your local bands or local venues you might be pleasantly surprised and will probably see the next big band.
