Beabadoobee x Laufey – 'A Night To Remember' Single Review

Beabadoobee and Icelandic-Chinese artist Laufey have recently released a collaborative Single 'A Night To Remember'.

What can I say, this may be one of the best things I’ve heard this year, it’s timeless, it’s classic, the video accompanying the song is perfect and the whole thing feels like it could be from the songbook of many of the great artists of the last 70 years.

It has a very cinematic quality to it, the video demonstrates that quite clearly but what’s so good about this is if you told me it was a lost Dusty Springfield, a lost Madeleine Peyroux or something that Nancy Sinatra did and is only now being released I could believe you, it’s timeless but also rooted in such a cool, almost jazzy vibe that it could have been recorded in the 60’s or any decade since,

Not enough people can make music like this any more, what I say is more, much more please!
