Spotlight: Steve Hackett Takes 1977 Live Album 'Seconds Out' On The Road

Steve Hackett makes a welcome return to the O2 Newcastle City Hall Saturday October 16th. This promises to be an incredible evening as Steve and his band once again treat us to a night of classic 70's Genesis.

Having already toured previous years playing studio albums in full this tour sees him taking on the 1977 epic double live 'Seconds Out' album! This was the last album to feature Steve on guitar and covers every album he played on during his time in the band defining their sound.

However Steve’s not just about the past he also recently released 'Surrender of Silence' which he recorded during lockdown with several musicians and vocalists collaborating from around the world so expect to hear some of that and other choice solo work as well.

Having seen some of the reviews of this tour which is currently underway the Newcastle fans are in for an incredible night of music. I’ll be there to try and capture the atmosphere and report back for 3 Songs and Out.
